How to choose the bed?

Although it’s hard to believe, we spend 1/3 of our lives in bed, so we should choose it very carefully. It is unbelievable how little attention we usually pay to this piece of furniture even though a good night’s sleep affects our mood and health. According to research, up to 90% of our mental and physical strength is regenerated during sleep.

Do you sleep well?

If not, the wrong bed with a summer mattress is probably to blame. An upholstered spring couch or sponge couch is not enough for your body to regenerate. It will regenerate much better on a high-quality bed and mattress. So that you can rest at night and get up in the morning in a good mood and full of energy, it’s worth investing in a good bed, rack and mattress.

A bed that is too short can hurt!

It is true that a bed alone does not affect the quality of our sleep as much as a rack, mattress and pillow and duvet material. But choosing the wrong bed can also cause health problems, for example if it is too short.

The minimum length of the bed should be equal to human height plus a minimum of 25 centimetres.

The width has to be at least 80 centimetres, but 90 or 100 provides much more comfort. The standard dimensions of a single bed are 90 x 200 centimetres, a double bed 140 x 200, 160 x 200 or 180 x 200 centimetres.

The bed must also be high enough – at least 30 cm above the floor (the hygiene minimum is 25 cm), not only to make it comfortable to get up, but also to ensure proper air circulation and effectively prevent the accumulation of dust under the bed. The ideal height is between 40 and 50 cm, for the elderly or those with mobility problems even 60 cm. The best way to find cheap beds is to look online.
